Human rights are the basic freedoms and rights that people are entitled to. All around the world people are being mistreated and the authorities are not respecting people and their human rights. Human rights are essential in order to have equality, freedom, and order. These rights, such as freedom of speech, the right to be free from prejudice, and simply the right to live are being violated all over the world. People everywhere are being imprisoned and punished for just trying to live free, be who they are, and expressing themselves. This is a big issue all around. As the Borgen Project states, â€Å" Females and the poor†¦ often denied legal rights and knowingly oppressed by the country’s political entities.† Women and the poor were not treated equally with the men and the rich. Sudan also faced drastic issues involving human rights. Bloody massacres occurred, taking the lives of 100,000 refugees. Also, Sudanese officers continued to violently disband protests and arrested activists and protesters. By the law enforcement officers doing this, they disrespected the Sudanese people’s right to freedom of speech. These are just a few of the many places where human rights are being violated by authoritative figures. Human rights are not being handled well by police officials, but what about the country as a whole? Several countries around the world have signed human rights treaties but the most influential country seems to be the United States. The U.S. is known for having a lot of police brutality, especially to African American males. Even with all this going on, the United States, as a nation is big on promoting equality and human rights. The U.S. is also supporting one of the most basic human rights, the right to live. Many states in the past couple of years have gotten rid of the death penalty. According to the Death Penalty Information Center, 19 states have abolished the death penalty. Hopefully, this will influence many more places to get rid of the death penalty,

The consistency requirements also prove to be a drawback at times. Ethics can be broadly divided into two principle theories, the deontological ethics and the teleological ethics. An example of a deontic relationship is the relationship between an employee and his employer. The set of rules that focuses on the duties and concentrates on the activities of people more than on the effects are referred to as deontological ethics. According to this set of principles, vices and virtues are discernible from the action. Kantian ethics may be cited as an example for deontological ethics. According to Kant, acts from the duty sense are morally correct. Kant further opines that judgement of whether an action is right or wrong depends on the motives of the doer and not on the consequences of the action. Deontology helps a person to stay consistent to their works as they work in a same manner each time they do satisfy their commitments. People practicing deontology are often seen to become supererogatory in their actions. This principle of ethics does have disad vantages as well. The followers have chances of not violating his duties to avoid several other violations by others. They operate, at times, without any logical reason. Moreover, the system does not provide with ways for dealing with situations of conflicting duties. Unlike deontological ethics, the outcomes of the action justify the means of action in case of teleological ethics. The consequences affect the righteousness of the act. A number of philosophers like Bentham, Mills and Machiavelli promote this principle of ethics. Teleological ethics are based on the increment of happiness and decrement of the antonym. Practitioners of teleology base the principle on the consequences of the actions of the doer. This principle is easily understandable and is based on common sense. Despite all the advantages, teleological principle of ethics has disadvantages as well. The followers of this principle find difficulty in predicting consequences of the action. There are found discrepancies in the followers as to the assessment procedures in the calculation of good consequences. The results of an act may vary according to the person responsible for the act. The costumers are facilitated with the best commodities an economic airline can have and the voice of the stakeholders do not go in vain (Yee and Pei, 2014). The ethical leadership technique of Tony Fernandes can be well identified in contrast to that of Martin Winterkorn, the former CEO of Volkswagen. This leader was known for his habit of calling out on his employees and criticizing them for their shortcomings or mistakes. The Neolithic Period is also called the New Stone Age. Many water pots and ceramic figures were found in the ruins of Neolithic society plots of earth. People of Neolithic times made many artifacts that were symbolic of their ways of life and culture such as water pots, fish, hunting and medical objects. Out of the artifacts found from the Neolithic period, the fish is symbolic to me because of the times spent with my father during fishing trips. The Neolithic Period extended from 10,000 B.C. to 3,000 B.C. It is also called the New Stone Age, and many new Advances and changes took place in this time. Unlike the nomadic life of the Old Stone Age, the New Stone Age was the dawning of settled life. People lived more towards lakes and river instead of caves and tree trunks. The change in environment led to the change of jobs, society, and culture. Neolithic everyday objects reveal that fishing and hunting were the main occupations of the people. Neolithic art is represented by a large number of objects found in isolated areas in Eastern Europe, Siberia and Central Asia. Neolithic people decorated clay water vessels in a wide variety of ways that were very large and colorful. They also created bone, horn and wooden figurines of people and animals. The Earliest Neolithic pottery found in Siberia and Central Asia is similar to pottery found in northern Britain, suggesting that early Neolithic colonist may have come to Ireland from northern Britain. The pottery bowls were made by winding coils of clay in a circle to form the sides of the bowl, smoothing them, and finally firing them on an open fire. After the making of these vessels were mastered, pottery was decorated with dots or lines in the surface of the clay. Neolithic people lived near rivers and lakes. The artifacts and life in the water became and important part of their lives by supporting them with food, cleansing and ceremonial artifacts such as fish and shells. Fishing was an important job, and way of life because the abundance of fish fed entire villages. At one time, my father and I lived in the same house with no problems, however we never had a decent conversation of life and love for one another. It was my idea to have an outing with my father, without my stepmother, that would make us talk. Since I had never been fishing I asked my father if he could teach me how to fish. Travelling through the dark Introduction â€Å"Travelling through the dark†, by William Stafford poem was published in 1962. The poem was set in nature where the speaker was driving in a dark narrow path. He found a she deer which had been recently hit by the car. Through this poem his actions and emotions comes out as he made his choices. The poet was in the middle of making decisions of saving the life of a deer; which had been recently hit by a car. In the first stanza he said â€Å"Travelling through the dark† (Poe ts 1). This symbolized danger and uncertainty as he drove near Wilson River road. The dark was significant to everything that existed in that scene including the deer, the fawn, the driver as well as the car. Repetition of the title in the first stanza emphasized the situation. This was followed by appearance of the dead deer and this creates another impression to the reader. He explained the scene. The traveler was faced with a moral dilemma on which he had to decide on the immediate action. His description of the pregnant deer explains the feelings of the traveler towards this deer. In the midst of death the traveler then found life in the dead deer. Knowing in reality this fawn would not be born, he was filled with sadness. Finally, his view of death was seen as he felt death was inevitable. He could not do anything about it, and he could not be able to save the deer’s life. Darkness was a symbol of danger and venturing into unknown. He was uncertain of his safety. The dee r seemed to cross the path with uncertainty in that it could probably be hit by cars. The young deer in the deer’s belly was uncertain with life in that it was just hopeless to be born because the mother was already dead. The speaker thought about how he could save the life of the unborn deer by getting it from the womb of the mother, but he was not sure if the young deer would survive without a mother in this dark environment. Man was also afraid that his valuable, i.e. an automobile would be damaged by having an accident with the deer as they crossed the narrow path. The speaker wondered what he could do. He said that, â€Å"It is usually best to roll them into the Canyon† (Poets 1). This was in contrast to what he felt as his responsibility. People’s decisions were not considerate of the nature and that is why the speaker said that it was usually best to dump them in the canyon. This was a good indication of unfair treatment to the nature where people never c ared for the deer they hit with their cars as they drove. As the speaker touched its belly, he was sorry that he could not be able to save the young deer that was warm in the belly of the dead deer. Death of the deer as it was almost ready to give birth was a contrast and symbolized the severity of the killing. Cars did not only hit the living creation, but even what was about to be born. As the young deer was being formed in the belly of the deer mother, man and his technology ruined what was forming in the womb. Darkness moment was seen in the young deer, as it was alive, still and never to be born (Poets 1). Man and nature were in conflict. The narrow path which they used had caused several deaths of the deer. Though it was not man’s wish to hit the deer he found himself killing the deer and some tried to rescue what they had already killed. Technology of using cars was what caused death of the deer. Imagery was used in various instances in this poem. In the second stanza, the speaker was in the glow of the tail light when he stopped to examine the victim deer. She had stiffened and was almost cold (Poets 1). The deer was said to have a big belly. The reader became sympathetic with the situation understanding that the deer was pregnant. His language was precise and he did not want to cause very strong emotions. He wanted to confront brutality of human beings towards nature. He placed man in a situation which he was able to conserve the environment. He also related the first driver to the second driver and their responsibilities. The first driver had hit the deer and left it lying down on the ground and did not take responsibility. The second driver, the speaker was sympathetic to the deer and his actions are filled with humanity and the desire to save life (Fairchild 1). The fourth stanza discussed the car. The exhaust was turning red and its lights were going dim. He could only feel the silence in the wilderness and felt like it was listening to him. The last thing he did was to push the dead deer into the river after deep thought about himself and the deer (Poets 1). This was a hopeless situation. He had no other choice, other than to push the deer to the edge of the river. He felt bad that he could not be able to save her life or the life of young deer. The young deer too had to suffer death (Fairchild 1).
